AKVIS Retoucher 9.0: Breathe Life into Damaged Photos!
November 16, 2017 — AKVIS announces Retoucher 9.0, a powerful photo restoration software. The new version offers a number of Color Correction parameters, the flexible Crop tool as well as the Vignette option that lightens/darkens the image at its perimeter.
AKVIS Retoucher is a photo restoration software that helps to remove dust, scratches, date stamps and other unwanted details from photos. Also, it is possible to improve image composition and reconstruct missing parts using the information of the surrounding areas. Depending on the type of damage, users can choose between two photo retouching modes: All-Purpose Retouching and Small Defects. Defects and details are removed automatically. Just select the areas you want to correct, press Run, and watch scratches and other imperfections vanish as if by magic!
Version 9.0 provides new parameters for performing Color Correction directly in the software. It is now possible to adjust brightness, contrast, and saturation values of an image as well as apply the Sepia filter.
The new version offers the Vignette effect that makes the image fade out toward the corners.
The Crop tool has been added. It allows cutting off unwanted areas of an image and reducing its size.
Also, the new version offers full compatibility with Photoshop CC 2018, new Gray interface theme, support for new RAW files, and some other improvements and bug fixes.
